Through the Viewfinder

Belfast based photographer and artist John Baucher aka Moochin Photoman is a bit obsessed with Through the Viewfinder photography which he discovered on flicker.com and I can see why.

Plain and simple TtV is defined as taking a picture of any subject through the viewfinder of any camera with another camera. Some beautiful and slightly abstract results can be achieved. He recently had a show of more than 1000 portraits in Belfast’s Trans arts festival which were all available to be taken away by the visitors at the end of the show. I would have loved to have seen this vast exhibition in the flesh so I’ll be keeping my eye on Moochin Photoman in the future.
