There is what they call street photography and then there’s Elmo Tide. These photos stopped me in my tracks when I clicked through to a friends post on Facebook.

A strange world has been captured here, every photo in black and white looking like random scenes from some crazy old movie. I wanted to watch this movie to the end then have it come to life, see these images in the flesh. I wanted to have taken these photos, been part of this madness. You can see the rest of his photos on Flikr but don’t expect to find out too much about him other than he has blond hair and looks about 5 years old. He is discrete and unlike the rest of us he does not feel the need to rattle on about himself or his work online so he remains a bit of a mystery.  To get the full effect of his amazing photographs view the full screen slideshow below.
